Miss S. (who’s seen here still in moma’s belly) made her appearance a little over 2 weeks ago. She did fabulous during our session together. She slept pretty much the whole time and didn’t fuss when I moved her…and from what I hear she is a great baby! Holding her makes me SO excited to meet our newest little man…which is due exactly 9 weeks from today!! Congratulations mom, dad and big brother!!!!
I had a mini session today with baby R and her older sister. They did a great job for me! Don’t you love their matching dresses?!?!
Love their colorful matching dresses but I have to say I ADORE that second to last picture on the left…..so sweet with the little girl kissing her sister and the yawn….so sweet!
Sneak peek OVERLOAD…I just couldn’t narrow it down anymore than this!!! I had a great time with Bob and Brooke the day of their wedding. This group was willing to try anything I suggested AND actually wanted to do the “jumping” pictures that most people loathe. I’m so glad they let me take them outside for a few shots…it was like 100 degrees on that day, so we did them as quickly as possible. It was a great day and I’m so glad I was a part of it! I hope ya’ll had fun on your honeymoon!!!
ps, I’m so sorry to the several couples that have contacted me in the past week asking if I could photograph their wedding in the upcoming months. Bob and Brooke’s wedding will be my last one until I have my baby…his due date is Oct. 2. I absolutely love weddings…the rushing and nerves and excitement and love…but due to my growing belly, I need to wait until I’m back in “laying on the floor for that perfect shot” shape!

I met this little guy over at his house for his session. Since he’s not quite walking yet, crawling around his own turf seemed like the best idea. I love sessions like this because kids normally feel most comfortable around their own things…which allows me to capture their personality in the truest form. He did do something that his mom said he never does…eating leaves. Every time he saw one, in his mouth it went. Of course that’s pretty consistent with being 1 year old too! Happy Birthday Mr. L!!!

Mr. C’s 3rd birthday was actually the day we had his session! He was fun to work with because he already has a touch of how most guys feel about having their picture taken – 5 minutes is enough! He was in good spirits the whole time, but he had a knack for turning his back to me as soon as I would get in position (and being almost 6 months pregnant, that required a little more work than normal). The real treat for me was watching his mom do all she could to get him to look at me. That was entertainment…but hey, we do what we have to do! I love all the different facial expressions he gave me.
