Two weeks ago I had the honor of photographing Carol and Kyle’s wedding. They were married at Lake Ouchita in Arkansas which was an AWESOME location! This group braved the heat to take pictures before the wedding outside, get married outside and allow me to take as many as they would let me afterwards outside (thank you thank you!!). The reception, however, was inside and they kept it going until the DJ turned off the music (even Carol’s grandmother which you will see dancing to SHOUT in the pics below)! They had such a good time I was ready to put down the camera and join them…luckily I didn’t because A-it’s my job!HA! and B-I would have missed out on the fun shots we captured!! Congrats Carol and Kyle! I wish you years of happiness!! Thanks again for asking Ashly Photography to share your wedding day!

My roommate from college just happened to marry a guy from Maud…which is only about 20 minutes away from Texarkana. So, lucky for me we get to see each other whenever they come into town to visit family. This time we decided it was time for a family session. I don’t think they have had a picture together since their littlest one was a baby. We met out at his family’s place (a DREAM for me since it had tons of cool locations) for a quick session. If it hadn’t been as hot as hades I would have loved to have spent more time scouting out all kinds of cool photo ops! Unfortunately mixing 5 people (3 of which under the age of 6) and 100 degree temps doesn’t allow for such luxuries. But, I think the places we did find were pretty awesome!

Not quite a newborn anymore…but Silas was still such a great baby to work with! He was actually easier than a lot of itty bitty babies I’ve photographed! This little boy was so sweet and don’t you just love those baby wrinkles! And yes, I did put wings on him for one picture…and yes I know he’s a boy! LOVE the look on his face in that picture! It’s like he KNOWS he’s got sparkly wings on and doesn’t like it one bit! It’s also pretty obvious big brother is smitten with his baby brother. Enjoy!

Had such a good time with these kiddos on Saturday! I don’t do alot of background sessions, but both Moms were wanting all white, so I set it up in my garage (so professional, I know – ha) and was able to use all natural lighting which was awesome! Enjoy these cute little faces!

Очень хороший сайт по путешествям в Африке http://africtravel.info/, найдете там много полезного видео…
I met this lovely couple and their little dog, Samson this Saturday. They were naturals in front of the camera…so easy to work with! And this couple was SO sweet with each other, you would have thought they were newlyweds (although 3 1/2 years isn’t that long to be married). Regular followers of this site may notice something a little different with this sneak peek. How do you like the cool new slideshow? (this website is best viewed at a high resolution)
