Ok, so technically this little guy isn’t a newborn…but he was so tiny and sleepy that I was able to do a few newborn poses with him. And the hot August heat helped keep him nice and sleepy too. I met this couple and their son at her parents house in Arkansas. Wow! It was like a resort! Two ponds, an awesome spot for entertaining, lots of grass, trees and flowers! It was a paradise for me as a photographer…too bad it was so hot which caused me to work quickly. So, is the picture of Dad holding Logan not the sweetest thing ever?!?! I love seeing guys turn into mush when interacting with their babies!! (Looking back, I wish I would have tucked Logan’s arms up underneath him, but nonetheless…still a sweet sweet picture!) And Mom of course couldn’t get enough kisses and snuggles in. Thank you for allowing me to photograph your family! (I delayed posting this session due to leaving for vacation a day after it took place!…sorry for the wait!!)

Moma and Daddy-to-be are SO excited about meeting their sweet little boy, Boston. I met this couple in downtown Shreveport this past Sunday. I’m so glad the storms came and went earlier in the day so we could still have our session…now driving home was a different story, but that’s not what we are here to talk about.
This Moma was a such a trouper! She walked all over the area with me looking for good spots, while wearing 4 inch wedges!! Boston is going to be the first child for this little family and the first grandchild…so he’s going to be one spoiled, loved on little boy! Thanks for asking me to photograph this beautiful time in your lives! Can’t wait to meet him and do his newborn session!!

I’m one of the exicted grandmothers to be. These pictures are beautiful and we have two good looking kids. Boston will be a good looking boy, too. Looking like them brought tears to my eyes. It is just a wonderful time for them and us.
I met this sweet little family Monday afternoon in the hot hot August heat! Jackson was a trooper even if it was above 100 degrees!! Thank ya’ll so much for asking me to photograph your family at this point in your life. Having children, I know exactly how fast these babies can grow up and things they do now might be things you may forget when they get older (like being freaked out not when he rolled, but when super daddy picked him up at the speed of light!! – ha!) Enjoy this time with him!

Mary Eileen and Zack were married this Saturday, July 31 in Shreveport, Louisiana. They had an intimate ceremony with family at a gorgeous church downtown, followed by a huge reception at the Shreveport Country Club. Food, drink, live band, dancing…can’t get much better than that! What a party!!! Thank you so much for asking me to photograph your special day and capture all your special details! I know that you both will have a lifetime of love and happiness! Congratulations Mary Eileen and Zack!!!

Mary Eileen and Zack were married this Saturday in Shreveport, Louisiana so I now can share her bridal session!! She did such a great job covering up the fact that this session was outside in the Louisiana July heat and mugginess! She makes 100 degree heat and 100 percent humidity look good!! I’ll be posting the wedding pictures as soon as I can pick some of my favorites out (a HARD task since they were such a great couple to work with…and look at – ha!). Enjoy!

Beautiful pictures, two beautiful people inside and out. This couple could have been married in a barn with hay on the ground, horses in stalls, and chickens clucking, and it would have been just as elegant and as special as they are. Good job to you and good luck to Mr. & Mrs. Zackery Grant on many years of love and happiness!!!
Beautiful!!! Both the bridals and the wedding!!!
