It’s been quite a while since I posted a slideshow. I decided to make one using Mr. L’s proofs (he’s the little guy in my previous post).

I met this little guy over at his house for his session. Since he’s not quite walking yet, crawling around his own turf seemed like the best idea. I love sessions like this because kids normally feel most comfortable around their own things…which allows me to capture their personality in the truest form. He did do something that his mom said he never does…eating leaves. Every time he saw one, in his mouth it went. Of course that’s pretty consistent with being 1 year old too! Happy Birthday Mr. L!!!

Mr. C’s 3rd birthday was actually the day we had his session! He was fun to work with because he already has a touch of how most guys feel about having their picture taken - 5 minutes is enough! He was in good spirits the whole time, but he had a knack for turning his back to me as soon as I would get in position (and being almost 6 months pregnant, that required a little more work than normal). The real treat for me was watching his mom do all she could to get him to look at me. That was entertainment…but hey, we do what we have to do! I love all the different facial expressions he gave me. What a sweetheart! I was lucky enough to photograph miss R. at 8 days old. This little girl did not want to miss out on the action. After keeping her parents awake the night before, she actually tried to stay awake during our session too! I know she had to be tired. Luckily she did settle down long enough for me to get a few precious sleeping pictures. You may be seeing her again on here, I planned to get a few pictures of her and her big sister…but she was just too tired after her own session to include anybody else (plus I think mom and dad were hoping for a nap too). If I do I’ll be sure to post them here!

Anybody that follows my work will recognize this group from last year. I was honored to be asked to photograph them again this year. They are such a fun group to work with! Thanks guys for working with me on different locations. It’s not easy lugging those instruments around while in full performance dress in 90 degree weather! Thanks again for allowing me to photograph your group!

I have had the pleasure of taking this family’s pictures since C. was 1 year old. He’s almost 3 and will be a big brother in about 6 weeks! That’s right, Miss S. is due in 6 weeks!!! They are SO excited! She is the answer to many prayers and will help make this family complete. Enjoy the sneak peek…

I wanted to share a picture of little old me…and my 21 week belly. We are still doing well and baby Sam is growing everyday. By the way, be on the lookout for another fresh faces campaign! Now that I’m past the tired part of my pregnancy I’m ready to get back out there and get busy again. Stay tuned…

For those of you who don’t know already…we are having another baby!!! We found out this Monday (April 20th) that we are having a baby boy!! Everything about him looked healthy on the u/s and we are so blessed to have that good report. I was so tired in the beginning, but my energy is starting to come back and so is my appetite! Baby boy is due October 2, 2009. June will be the last month I photograph weddings until after the baby comes. I love getting on the floor and moving around quickly during a wedding and a big belly plus my grace (or lack of!) woudn’t work well after June. I will continue with family/newborn/children sessions up until I just can’t do it anymore. I still want to add more newborns to my galleries…give me a call or email, I may make an offer you can’t refuse!!

I went to visit my roommate from college (Fork ‘Em Demons!!) in OK a few weeks ago and we had an impromtu session. I love when kids aren’t stiff in front of the camera and just act like kids!! Enjoy! (and no the oldest girls aren’t twins…their mom gets that question all the time)
